Colley Rd House Fire

On the afternoon of 4/25/2026 Turtle Fire Department was dispatched to a residential house fire on Colley Road.
The Clinton Fire Protection District was automatically dispatched to assist.
Upon arrival there was smoke present throughout the house.
A MABAS Box Alarm was requested for additional water and manpower.
Upon entry into the house our crew discovered the source of the fire and smoke in the basement of the house.
A closed door had contained the fire to the room of origin.
Our crews extinguished the remnants of the fire and ventilated the house.
After ensuring that the fire had not spread, the house was turned back over to the homeowner.
Along with Clinton, we would like to thank Rock County Communications Center, Town of Turtle Police Department, the Rock County Sheriff's Department, City of Beloit Fire Department, Darien Fire & EMS, Harlem Roscoe Fire Protection, North Boone Fire District #3, and Lakeside Fire Rescue for their assistance.
